“There is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonics so powerful as expectation of something better tomorrow”.

  2. You should feel very proud of yourselves - youth is so easily labelled negatively these days and you are working to redress that balance. Most young people are positive, helpful and dynamic and we don't hear enough about the kind of work you guys are doing. The experiencet will probably be one that wil stay with you for the rest of your lives. Excellent work and well done to all concerned.

Help the Hospice is a collaborative effort of eleven sixthformers who are hoping to make a difference in Birmingham by supporting John Taylor Hospice (JTH) in Erdington and contribute to a change in opinion about the youth of today.

We aim to raise awareness of what a hospice is, what it does and why we need to support it. We also aim to fundraise for refurbishments to JTH and also show that youth can contribute constructively to their communities on their own inititative.
